SKIMS enthusiasts asked and Kim Kardashian answered: the brand is officially expanding its swimwear options with a new collection called Shaping Swim.
Dropping on SKIMS.com on August 12, the new Shaping Swim launch includes both separates and one-piece swim designs in an array of five neutral colorways. SKIMS first ventured into swimwear back in March with the unveiling of SKIMS Swim, which initially offered 19 different styles in seven colors. (Since then, the options have expanded to include metallics, accessories, cover-ups, and more.)
What makes the Shaping Swim pieces different from those original styles is the fact that they also incorporate shapewear elements in their designs.
“Created in a soft, compressive fabric with a range of flattering silhouettes, the Shaping Swim collection is designed to smooth and mold your body in all the right places,” SKIMS shared in a press email. (NGL, that sounds more than desirable if you usually find swimwear uncomfortable due to the softer fabrics.)
According to the brand, we can expect medium to full coverage from the new line as well as “the signature SKIMS compressive, body-hugging feel.” The line consists of nine new styles available in sizes XXS–4X. Prices range from $54 to $108. Check out some of our favorite pieces below:
