Two University of Wisconsin-Madison students met each other via Snapchat this weekend, while the whole student body watched. Now their story is going viral, so a lot of the country is also watching, and basically if the major studios aren't going to make romantic comedies anymore, fine, we'll take this, thank you very much!

It all began with a massive school Snapchat story, when Library Girl spotted Vikings Fan. (Those are our protagonists' names, for the purpose of this story, and for the purpose of this seeming like modern-day "You've Got Mail"). First, she reached out saying she was "literally in love" with him. Then he tried to meet her at the library... but he missed her! Then he messaged her publicly... and she missed that message! (This is all so crucial, no meet-cute can be iconic without perilous antics.)

The whole thing was getting frustrating, seeming like it wasn't going to work out. (Maybe an acoustic version of Justin Bieber's "Company" was playing softly in the background, to keep the mood sad, but vaguely hopeful.) Library Girl told Vikings Fan that if it was fate, they would meet that night. Vikings Fan said he had to do a project, and would maybe go out, but at this point the whole campus was rooting for their love.

"Two things," one breathlessly romantic young man chimed in. "You can sit right there and you can do your project, or you can get your ass up and find that girl man! She's looking for you!"

Do you know how it ends? DO YOU KNOW? They meet, fall in love, and live happily ever after! Or, at least, hug briefly before getting a drink together. Sorry, I'm excited. Do yourself a favor and watch the whole video above. It's legitimately better than the few romantic comedies that have been released in the past five years.
