According to Sophie Turner, 2023 was for the girls. The Game of Thrones star had quite an eventful year, given her tumultuous public divorce from former husband Joe Jonas and subsequent custody battle over their two daughters. However, she bounced back with a little help from her friends, and she shouted out those friends in a celebratory photo dump on Instagram — including a cameo from one Taylor Alison Swift.
As many of us do near the end of the year, Turner shared some of her favorite moments from 2023 on IG, calling it the “year of the girlies” and saying the 2024 forecast is “looking fairly consistent.”
She shared ten photos from the year, including various hangs with her friends, lunches, parties and other silly moments. But it's image three that really grabs your attention, given it's a group shot of herself, Swift, and Sabrina Carpenter, among others, sitting in a stadium. Judging by their outfits, it certainly looks like a pic from the Chiefs game Turner attended alongside Swift in October.

Despite the ups and downs of her year, it looks like Sophie Turner is doing just fine. She and Swift spent some quality time together post-divorce, including dinners out in New York City with a squad of girlfriends including Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid.
It was also reported that Swift lent Turner her New York apartment shortly after the news of her divorce broke. In November, the actor ushered in cuffing season when she was spotted kissing British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson in Paris. As for her relationship with Jonas, the two agreed on a custody arrangement through early 2024 and issued a joint statement that they “look forward to being great co-parents” to their girls.
