The runways have spoken and boy did they have a lot to say, especially about spring 2022 fashion trends! From mesmerizing patterns and jaw dropping accessories to classic silhouettes gone edgy — it’s safe to say designers breathed new life into New York Fashion Week post lockdown and really poured their hearts into this season!

We rounded up five standout spring 2022 fashion trends inspired by New York Fashion Week runways and street style to head start your wardrobe.

Not Your Baby

Your favorite light and flirty dresses have been redefined. Designers added some spice to “everything nice” and blacked out voluminous dresses that are typically made in bright colors or floral prints. Some even took it a step further as to switch out the ideal soft lightweight cotton fabrication for latex and we are obsessed!

No literally, less. Sheer, barely-there dresses dominated the runway this season. From chiffon and nylon down to gauze fabrics, layer them with a simple two-piece underneath or go bold and bare. Leaving not so much for the imagination but just enough of inspiration!

It’s no secret that when fringe enters the chat, suddenly everyone’s thinking western vibes. But, baby, that’s old news! Fringe is back and she’s better than ever — this time around, the tassel detailing is heavier, more full, and not so casual. Fringe is having a major main character moment this season.
