Stray Kids kicked off another leg of the <dominATE> world tour, which means there’s plenty more fashion inspo to come both on and off the stage. Leader Bang Chan got a head start, sharing a trendy look over the weekend.
On May 25, Bang Chan posted his OOTD to his personal Instagram page. The quintessential spring look included a pair of classic blue jeans and an orange and beige striped shirt with a matching button-down t-shirt over it. He accessorized with a beanie and some jewelry, but the scene-stealer of the look was his choice of footwear.
While we typically go to the Stray Kids members’ Instagram pages to find the next most coveted sneakers, this time, Bang Chan gave us a masterclass in styling another buzzy choice. He cosigned the clogs trend, one of the most anticipated styles of the year per celeb stylists.
As a dutiful brand ambassador, Bang Chan wore Fendi clogs. Repping to the max, the shoes were covered in the Italian fashion house’s monogram logo in beige and black hues, tying the whole look, from beanie to clogs, together. The buckle off to the side elevated the look, giving it a more polished feel.
Perfect for the warmer months when you’re not totally ready to commit to sandals, clogs are an easy on-the-go style, perfect for busy schedules like a K-pop idol’s. They’re also optimal for, say, a film director like Malia Obama, who was spotted wearing a pair while on her way to a yoga class last week, showcasing a more casual, comfortable, and classic take on the trend that’s been picked up by luxury designers recently.
