A little unexpected touch goes a long way, and Stray Kids member Hyunjin knows it well. Known for his daring but casual street style, the star just made a case for sneaker mules on his Instagram, and we are definitely ready to follow his steps.
On Feb. 19, 2025, Hyunjin took to his Instagram to post a photo dump showing off his freshly dyed pink ‘do. The star, who had rocked a blonde buzzcut since December 2024, debuted the new pink ‘do at Stray Kids’ SKZ 5'CLOCK fan meetings this past weekend.
Though Hyunjin was wearing a stage outfit in the first photo included in the post, he also showed off a more casual style in the next few slides. His off-duty look included black baggy joggers, a SAINT MXXXXXX and Sean Wotherspoon tee, and a cozy CDG scarf — borrowed from fellow Stray Kids member I.N, as he himself pointed out in the comments.

However, the piece of resistance taking the comfort measure to another level was his shoes: a pair of the New Balance x Bryant Giles sneaker mules first released in 2022 and now available secondhand on sites Depop, StockX, eBay, as well as resale on FightClub and brand new on Farfetch.
Crafted from calf suede and canvas, the mesh mules are the epitome of comfort and perfect for sliding in and out when running errands. Mule versions of sneakers are highly popular in South Korea, with brands like Vans and Nike offering some of their more popular designs in easy, slide-on styles.
The perfect hybrid between the comfort and style of sneakers mixed with the practicality of clogs like Birkenstocks and Crocs, we will surely be looking into introducing more sneaker mules in our wardrobes as the warmer weather rolls around — especially now that they have Hyunjin’s stamp of approval.
