It's looking like 2025 will be the year of the necktie — at least if Stray Kids band member I.N has anything to say about that. The musician just cosigned the accessory as a trend to copy ASAP, and we're kind of obsessed.

The tie made an appearance on I.N's Instagram; in the pics, he poses in a button-down shirt with slim, vertical stripes and a pair of light-wash, ripped jeans. Instead of a traditional silk tie, he's wearing what appears to be a leather version in a true, deep blood-red shade, loosely tied around his neck. I.N is also wearing a pair of brighter, crimson red gloves to further carry the red motif throughout his outfit.

As fans might have already clocked, the red tie outfit made its debut in Stray Kids' new video for “Walkin On Water," off their new special album 合 (HOP), as I.N plays pool in the exact ‘fit. Red is a recurring theme in the video, with most of the band members wearing the color at some point. (Does Felix's red plaid shirt look familiar?)

I.N isn't the only one embracing the red tie look. BLACKPINK's Rosé is also a fan; she wore a Saint Laurent suit to The Kelly Clarkson Show in NYC earlier this month, pairing the loose-fitting camel pants with a white shirt and a maroon striped tie, plus a hoodie over the shirt.

While I.N's tie may have been part of a music video look and Rosé's was for a TV appearance, you can easily incorporate the necktie into your own looks. Borrow a red tie from a family member or hit up a local thrift store, then get creative pairing it with button-down shirts for a polished look like Rosé or a punkier one, a la I.N. And the best part? You can make it part of your holiday party looks, as there's no color more festive (or trendier) than red!
