Stray Kids just made history at the Met Gala 2024. All eight members of the K-Pop boy group — Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N — just made their Met Gala red carpet debut together, marking the very first time that an entire group has attended the event together, and, of course, they had to do it in style.
Stray Kids was invited to the Met Gala on behalf of American designer label Tommy Hilfiger. Earlier this year, the group starred in Tommy Hilfiger's spring 2024 Campaign and now, they’re representing the brand on the Met Gala red carpet. The Stray Kids members' looks have been designed by Tommy Hilfiger with the Met Gala 2024 theme, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” and dress code, “The Garden of Time," in mind.
Stray Kids made their Met Gala debut in style and with their own outfit reveal. The octet first graced the red carpet in formation, wearing bespoke overcoats that they took off in unison to reveal their tailored suits. The looks centered on Tommy Hilfiger's signature colors (red, white and blue) with gold accents for a Met Gala twist.

Of course, STAYs would know Seungmin actually spoiled the group's Met Gala debut over the weekend during a live broadcast and all the members teased it ahead of the actual evening, but that doesn't make their debut any less momentous.
As mentioned before, this is not only Stray Kids' first time at the Met Gala but also the first time all of the members of a K-pop group have gone to the event together as a group. In recent years, a few K-pop idols have attended individually, including EXO's Lay in 2019, BLACKPINK’s Rosé and 2NE1’s CL in 2021, NCT’s Johnny in 2022, and BLACKPINK’s Jennie in 2023. Previously, soloists PSY and Rain attended the historic fashion event as well. Stray Kids' arrival at the Met Gala is the latest milestone crossed as K-pop's influence continues to grow in the fashion world.
It's too soon to say if the Stray Kids members will keep the night going and attend any after parties, but we might be in store for an outfit change if they do. So stay tuned because we surely will!
