Bad Bunny chose a less conventional, but wholesome way to promote his new album.
The rapper and performer turned to a group of journalism students at the University of Puerto Rico at Río Piedras to help create a special newspaper issue that featured Bad Bunny on the cover. The print issue featured news on the Puerto Rican musician's new album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana —which translates to “Nobody Knows What Is Going to Happen Tomorrow.”
Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, released his fifth solo studio album early on Friday, October 13, and has already broken records. Spotify announced that the 22-track album became the streaming platform's most-streamed album in a single day in 2023. The musician has already held the title of the most-streamed artist globally on Spotify for the last three years.
On the cover of UPR's student newspaper, Bad Bunny posed in a photo wearing a mask on his face with the words “Ya Salió” printed in bold red.

“An unexpected call, less than a week ago, gave way to an unforgettable experience for my students and I,” David Cordero Mercado, who is a professor at UPR's communications school, wrote on Facebook.
Mercado added that the students worked on the publication “in record time,” and had “multiple meetings, calls and messages to achieve a memorable edition.” On top of being able to create the special publication, Mercado and his students attended a listening party at the Coliseum of Puerto Rico, along with 18,000 others.

Bad Bunny's continued success is no surprise after his 2022 album, Un Verano Sin Ti, was a critical and commercial feat. The album was nominated for Album of the Year at the 65th annual Grammys. In total, Bad Bunny has been nominated for nine Grammys, winning three.
