I’m a beauty gal obsessed with lip products — lip glosses, lipsticks, lip liners — you name it, and odds are I’ve probably got them in all of my everyday purses. But recently, I’ve been seeing lip oils all over my FYP on TikTok and wanted to know what the hype was about, so as soon I saw Summer Fridays drop their new lip oil, I added it to my must-try list!
The Summer Friday’s Dream Oil comes in four shades: Pink Cloud (soft pink), Blush Dreams (sheer blush), Soft Muave (sheer rose), and Rosewood Nights (sheer rosy brown). I tend to gravitate towards rosy/pinky shades, so I’m looking forward to trying out Pink Cloud. They come packaged in a gorgeous clear case, which I love because you can see exactly how the color looks.
The lip oils have a non-sticky formula (unlike your favorite candy-scented drugstore gloss from back in the day) that works to nourish the skin with a blend of various moisturizing plant-based oils, such as Apricot Kernel, Jojoba Seed, Avocado, Grape Seed, Rosehip, Squalane, Raspberry Seed, Sheal, and Castor Seed oil.
It’s also packed with plant-based collagen that helps to retain skin moisture and Vitamin E, which can protect and soften dry lips. The application is also a dream (hence the name) because it glides on easily across the lips thanks to the oversized doe foot applicator, and the texture of the oil feels lightweight and soft.
I recommended lining your lips with a brownish lip liner and then filling them in with the lip oil of your choice to create a gorgeous lippe 90s-inspired lippe look! The Summer Friday’s Dream Oil is available for $26 at Sephora and SummerFridays.com.
