The Susan Woo presentation felt like a luxurious garden party, replete with little tea cakes and a laid-back playlist that included Rilo Kiley and John Mayer. For spring, Woo seems to have taken some of her cues from the era of power dressing, featuring cream-colored trousers, pencil skirts, many a bouffant and a cummerbund or two. Her collection is sophisticated and super wearable, especially with asymmetrical tops and blouses in silk georgette softening each of the looks.

Woo's pulled-together aesthetic makes perfect sense given her background at powerhouses like Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Derek Lam. But solo, she's on a different mission: to be environmentally friendly without sacrificing elegance. Really, not a single piece screams eco-chic; it comes as a pleasant surprise that even technically demanding pieces like bustiers and cocktail dresses are cast in organic fabrics. So, Ms. Woo, mission accomplished.
