If you're looking for a more glamorous alternative to your beat-up old water bottle, look no further: Famed crystal producer Swarovski has teamed up with BKR to create the glitzy water bottle line of your dreams, and best of all, it's for a good cause.
According to BKR's site, the 500 Collection — named for the number of loose crystals filling each bottle's cap — is "inspired by a glam culture obsession, the surreal experience of floating weightlessly in a Lucas Samaras infinity room, a giant glass bath in an all-glass bathroom, a bon vivant and her unconventional bed made entirely of crystals, and everything that's quite impractical, quite beautiful, quite unnecessary, quite necessary and dizzyingly, limitlessly glittering, glowing, mesmerizing, fearless and fashion-mad." Uh, same.
The four-piece collection is only available in BKR's 500-milliliter "Little" size. The company's signature silicone sleeve–covered glass bottles come in shades of nude, ballet pink, white, and black, with platinum, gold and rose gold twist-off lids filled with Swarovski crystals. According to InStyle, 100 percent of the net proceeds from sales of the $185 water bottles will go to the Water for People Organization, with each purchase providing a one-month supply of clean water to a person in need in one of the nine countries the nonprofit serves.
