Sydney Sweeney Gave the Classic Suit a Spin With a Mini Skort

Sydney Sweeney is embracing her inner “office siren” — with a twist. The actor just put a fun twist on the classic suit by swapping the traditional trousers or pencil skirt for a mini, but not just any mini. Instead of a miniskirt, she opted for a mini skort!

Sydney Sweeney wore her twist on the three-piece suit for the opening of RH Newport: the Gallery at Fashion Island in Newport Beach, California. She donned a Tom Ford suit in a chic charcoal gray, with a classic blazer, fitted cropped vest, and a matching skort. At first, it looks like she's wearing a flouncy mini, but if you look closer, those are definitely shorts!

Sweeney styled her suit with a pair of black pointed-toe pumps. It's still a suit, but the skort adds a fun, cheeky, modern vibe that keeps the look from feeling too fussy, stuffy, or formal. Her hair was styled in long, loose curls. She wore a red manicure, plus a diamond tennis necklace around her neck.

A suit can really take you anywhere and everywhere, and Sweeney proves it. You could easily swap the skort for a pair of pants and wear this to the office, or ditch the jacket and stick to just the vest and skort for a cute, flirty look. Or, you could follow Hailey Bieber's lead and opt for a slouchier menswear style.

Sweeney's RH look was a total 180 from the ultra-casual cowgirl ‘fit she wore to a recent Eric Church concert with her friends, though she did wear shorts to both events. For the concert, Sweeney dressed down in a white T-shirt, shorts, a denim jacket, and thigh-high cowgirl boots. Whatever she’s wearing, she wears it with her signature effortlessly cool touch, and now we really want a suit of our own.
