Sydney Sweeney is the star to watch this week. Between her reportedly called-off wedding to film producer Jonathan Davino and her Texas outing with Anyone But You costar Glenn Powell, the 27-year-old has been the talk of town and out and about. Amidst all the chatter, the actor was seen at CinemaCon 2025 in Las Vegas wearing what should be the most talked about moment: a stunning look from it-girl designer Jackson Wiederhoeft.
Sweeney's specific look comes from the Wiederhoeft spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection. The pale white corset bodice features visible boning and an ultra mini, sunken waist. The look was paired with a silk satin, ankle-length skirt and featured a silver chunky buckle belt that gave off Y2K low-rise vibes. She also wore a pair of silver pumps. The Euphoria star kept it simple, wearing no accessories. She wore a loose curl hairstyle and kept a soft glam look with a nude-ish pink color.
Sweeney works closely with celebrity stylist Molly Dickson on all her looks and takes a very glammed “girl-next-door” approach to her style. She's always been relatable sartorially but with an elevated sophistication that is absolutely scrumptious, like this choice of Wiederhoeft. And even though the look could easily be something a future bride would wear to some sort of wedding festivity, we now know that that won't be necessary for Sweeney at the moment.
The star wore this look standing alongside her co-star Amanda Seyfried to promote their forthcoming film The Housemaid. The thriller film stars Sydney Sweeney as Millie, a young woman who gets a job as a housemaid for a “seemingly sweet and perfect family.” Seyfried is Nina, her erratic employer. Onstage at CinemaCon, Sweeney described the film as “messy” and “f*cked up.” The Housemaid is directed by Paul Feig and is set to arrive in theaters on Christmas Day.
