Sydney Sweeney has made it her mission to prove black outfits don't have to be boring by wearing not one, not two, but three all-black 'fits with completely different vibes — all on the same day.
On March 20, Sydney Sweeney fully leaned into the all-black aesthetic for a busy press day around New York City. The star, who's currently promoting Immaculate, started off her day with an appearance on the Today show. Since it was her first 'fit of the day, Sweeney kept the vibes simple, opting for a pair of patent leather stiletto heels, sheer tights, and a zip-up mini dress from Versace that looked as comfy as a sweater. She rounded off the look with a pair of cat-eye sunglasses.
For her second look of the day, Sweeney swapped into a sleeveless leather maxi dress by Kaithe, which featured a stretchy knit corset bodice with buttons all up her back that hugged the bottom half of her torso. She paired the dress with a hand-held purse, strappy stiletto boots, and a different pair of sunnies because you can never have too many black sunglasses.
Sweeney's third and last look of the day featured another pair of black sunnies, and another statement dress, this time from Shushu/Tong's spring 2024 collection. While roaming around the city, Sweeney kept warm with a black wool coat and the same sheer tights but different shoes.
Sweeney's third dress, another LBD, featured a ruffled stain skin and a sheer lace insert that showed off her skin and perfectly connected into the structure satin bodice with a square neckline and spaghetti straps. She wore it to appear at an event at 92NY, named Sydney Sweeney In Conversation With Josh Horowitz, and, as expected, she lost the coat for the occasion.
Sydney Sweeney has been having a lot of fun with her ‘fits during this press run. The weekend before her three-black-looks-in-a-day moment, she wowed everyone wearing a sculptural, 3D flower top by Balmain, which came after an all-white look, complete with trompe l’oeil lace boots, at SXSW and a showstopping vintage look for Oscars night. Clearly, this new bob has got Sweeney feeling herself and we are just happy she's taking us along for the ride.
