Summer might have just started officially, but Tate McRae is wasting no time and already serving up bikini inspo for the season. Her take? Giving cow-print a beachy spin.
In a new Instagram photo dump from one of her recent vacation trips, Tate McRae cosigned the cow-print trend, often favored in the colder months, with two brand-new bikini pics, proving animal prints are truly seasonless.
In slides two and three of her post, the “Greedy” singer posed, donning a black-and-white cow-print bikini in both a hotel mirror selfie and a beach pic. It seems the styles favored by McRae are by Frankies Bikinis. Specifically, the star appears to have opted for the Paradise Micro Halter Bikini Top and the Reece Cheeky Bikini Bottom, both in the Homestead colorway, which are selling out fast.
McRae's choice of top is your classic triangle bikini, but micro. The classic halter style features string ties at the neck and chest, though McRae opted to tie the latter at the back rather than the front, as on the brand's site. The Brazilian-style low-rise bottom, on the other hand, features a side tie for added visual interest and functionality, allowing for better adjustment.
McRae completed her beachside bikini look with a pair of all-black '90s style thin frame sunglasses and plenty of gold jewelry. The star added the same perfume-shaped gold necklace she wore at the Met Gala after-parties around her neck, as well as a dainty gold-and-black Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra bracelet and a thick-link chain watch on her right wrist.
Itty bitty bikinis seem to be the go-to for McRae this year. Back in May, she also included a couple of bikini pics in one of her Instagram carousels, favoring similar styles. In that post, she was seen wearing another animal print option, leopard print to be exact, which she paired with lightwash denim shorts and Birkenstock-style clogs in another beachscape. On two other slides, she also wore a simple micro-triangle bikini with cheeky shorts, this time tied at the sides.
Whether you go for cow-print, leopard print, or plain colors, there's a lot of fun to be had with micro bikinis this summer. Just make sure you lather up with SPF if you plan to bask in the sun like Tate McRae!
