Taylor Swift can’t say a word to a human of the male gender without launching a million "New Couple Alert!" headlines. And if she’s actually photographed with someone? Forget about it. They might as well have signed, sealed, and sent out wedding invitations based on the sheer number of relationship rumors that inevitably launch.
Which is why we’re really trying not to lose our heads over the hearsay that Taylor gave her number to The 1975 frontman, Matt Healy, who not only confirmed the news in a radio interview but also said,"She’s a sensation, I wouldn’t say no."
Again, we’re really, really trying to keep it cool.
Sure, she attended The 1975’s sold-out show in Los Angeles. And yes, she was also spotted wearing the band’s tour tee a few days later. And, OK, she did, in fact, recently fave a tweet about them (and Tay basically never faves tweets, so that’s kind of a big deal). Oh, and then this happened.

But they could just be friends! Or conspiring on a collaboration! Or giving each other hair styling tips, since they have the exact same cut!
Dating or not, this is one relationship worth shipping. Our love of the band is well-documented—we fell for them back when they dropped their debut EP in early 2013, and then they went and covered One Direction, and we’ve been head over heels since. It sure looks like we’re in good company...
