It's officially October, and, of course, speculation as to what our favorite stars will be wearing come the 31st is beginning to sprout. One such pair is Taylor Swift and her reported new love interest, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
According to unnamed insiders, the are-they-or-aren't-they duo could be considering what will definitely be one of the top couples' costumes of 2023: Barbie and Ken. I mean, it's practically a no-brainer: She's everything! His job is football! A football locker room is basically a Mojo Dojo Casa House, and anything Lover-related would fit right in in Barbie Land.
This whole rumor started via the Daily Mail, as many celebrity rumors often do. Model and America's Got Talent host Heidi Klum, who throws a star-studded Halloween party every year, told the outlet that she'd love it if Swift and Kelce attended. "I would love to invite them," Klum shared. "If they would just show up, I'm sure no one at the door will turn them away." Apparently, this news has reached Swift and Kelce, who have reportedly "joked" about dressing up like Barbie and her hapless, muscled paramour should they attend the event.

Before you start dreaming about which Barbie looks Kelce and Swift might attempt — I vote for fur coat Ken – remember that this is total speculation based on a random quote from Klum, not an actual confirmation that the supposed couple will be attending the Halloween party.
However, if there is some truth to the rumor and the pair are looking for more couples' costumes, why not throw it back to the '90s as the "Planet of the Bass" duo DJ Crazy Times and Biljana Electronica, or maybe another high-profile celeb couple like Kylie and Timothée? Or switch roles, with Kelce dressed as Swift and Swift as Kelce; we already know red is her color!
Everyone is going to be dressed like Barbie and Ken this year, but these two do have the budget to do it right. Just imagine: Kelce could roll up on a horse and Swift in Barbie's pink convertible in the fringed Western outfits from the movie. Maybe Kelce and his teammates could come as the battling Kens in their short shorts while Swift and her squad slip into those bright pink coveralls to battle the patriarchy.
