The video for Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” is premiering tomorrow night at MTV VMAs pre-show, but all week she's been teasing us with what to expect. Last week she debuted a 15 second Instagram video that made our hearts race and last night she posted the photo above of her and the dapper model-turned actor Scott Eastwood (who plays her love interest) in full costume. Swift captioned the dreamy photo with lyrics from the song, and going by the scenario, it looks like she is going to be pretty literal with this video.
It seems that after the #squad-heavy departure that was "Bad Blood," Tay-Tay has returned to her music video roots (from 1989, anyway): Hot dude, exotic locale, high romantic drama (the two appear to be on safari). Also, please note that the film clapperboard is dated “August 2, 1950” — either Taylor has gained the ability to time-travel (which, believable) or she’ll be on her vintage game in the video.

After Taylor posted the photo of the two looking picture perfect, Scott shared a super sweet Twitter message to the singer thanking her for the once in a lifetime experience.

In case Calvin Harris isn’t feeling a little weird and insecure yet, E! has done the honors of compiling an exhaustive list of Taylor’s previous music video love interests: Clayton Collins ("Tim McGraw"), Tyler Hilton ("Teardrops on My Guitar"), Justin Sandy ("Picture to Burn"), Justin Gaston ("Love Story"), Stephen Colletti ("White Horse"), Lucas Till ("You Belong With Me"), Toby Hemingway ("Mine"), Guntars Asmanis ("Back to December"), Zach Gilford ("Ours"), Noah Mills ("We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together"), Reeve Carney ("I Knew You Were Trouble"), and Sean O'Pry ("Blank Space"), among others. Get it, girl.
