Will Travis Kelce go to the Grammys 2025 with Taylor Swift? People and TMZ report that once again, the answer is no — as Kelce has team practices for the upcoming Super Bowl when the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles.
Ahead of the ceremony on Feb. 2, fans wondered if the couple of the moment would make a joint appearance at the Grammys, which are taking place at the Crypto.com Arena, formerly known as the Staples Center, in Los Angeles. The outlets reported, however, that Kelce will be focusing on the matchup instead of heading to the Grammys.
People noted that he actually lands in New Orleans for the game before Swift even gets to the Grammys red carpet. Meanwhile, British tabloid the Daily Mail spotted Swift boarding her private jet in Kansas City and setting off to L.A. for the Grammys alone after spending the week with Kelce following the Chiefs' victory at the AFC championship game.
The next couple of weekends are definitely stacked for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. While Kelce has the actual Super Bowl coming up on Feb. 9, Swift has the music Super Bowl — a.k.a. the Grammys 2025 — tonight. Swift has six nominations, and she also has been confirmed as one of the presenters for the 2025 Grammys.
Soon, the Chiefs will be defending their title at the 2025 Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles on Feb. 9, and both teams were expected to touch down in Louisiana a week before the game to practice and prepare.
On top of that, Kelce is also expected to participate in the Super Bowl Opening Night (also known as media day) on Monday, Feb. 3, in New Orleans. The event will include photo and interview sessions with both teams, and all players and coaches are expected to attend.
Last year, Kelce also skipped the 2024 Grammys due to Super Bowl practice. "I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she's nominated for, but I think I got practice on Sunday. Is it Saturday or Sunday? I know I got practice Saturday, but Sunday's a travel day. Unfortunately, I gotta get ready for this big ol' Super Bowl that we got in a week,” he said on The Pat McAfee Show. And well, it's the same scenario this year.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, an insider close to the couple basically confirmed that Kelce is not attending the Grammys this year. “Although Travis won't be at the Grammys, he will be cheering her on, as he always does,” the source said, adding that, on the other hand, you can likely expect to see Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl.
