Fashion Month is the ideal time to get experimental with your wardrobe — and Troye Sivan knows it well. During Paris Fashion Week, the cameras have been out, the front rows are packed, and the runways are full of excitement, from the surrealist touches at Schiaparelli to the intricate, joyful florals at Balmain.
Troye Sivan followed the Paris Fashion Week brief to the letter, attending the Rabanne show in a denim jacket, zero shirt, and a silver and glass chest piece that was essentially the 3D version of nipple covers.
The musician and actor skipped a shirt in favor of the beautifully detailed harness-style chest piece, which began around his neck with a slim circular silver necklace and descended from there. Two clear glass flowers encircled each nipple, connected by more silver and a few delicate chains, with another nestled near the center of his ribcage.
To tone down the fanciness of the piece, Sivan wore it with a light-wash denim jacket, classic blue jeans, and a pair of square-shaped sunglasses. Despite the intricacy of the piece, it looks relatively comfortable and fits him perfectly, and it's undeniably beautiful.
The "Got Me Started" singer has been having fun with his looks lately; in a recent Instagram post, he turned himself into a human disco ball with a shimmering silver top and matching pants from Gucci. In May, he again skipped the shirt in a cerulean blue Versace suit. For the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty, Sivan slipped into a leather-on-leather-on-leather look from Diesel. This is the kind of pop star fashion we have been craving!
