If you thought we had left the naked dress trend in 2024, Tyla is here to prove otherwise with a fresh new take, courtesy of Jacquemus.
On January 26, 2025, the South African superstar made the trek to Paris to attend the Jacquemus menswear fall-winter 2025/2026 show. Despite the cold of the French capital, Tyla decided to fully go against the current wintry season with a long black gown by the house that left a lot of her skin exposed. (Thank you, world, for indoor heating!)
Tyla's dress was simple in color and texture, cascading all the way to the floor into a small ruched train that gave us only a peek at her pointed-toe pumps. However, the dress's construction was a lot more playful from the side.
The dress featured a strapless, halter neckline that hung low from the star's shoulders, leaving her back, torso, and waist completely exposed — except for the matching thong-style brief sewn into the design. Tyla proudly showed off the effect to photographers at the event from multiple angles.
With such an impactful silhouette, Tyla kept her accessories and glam simple. The star rocked a small nose ring and a pair of sizeable black and white beaded hoop earrings, which stood out more thanks to the natural short styling of her hair. As for makeup, she went for fluttery lashes and a smokey eye paired with a brown-lined mauvy nude lip and long stiletto nails in a rich burgundy color.
