Tyla surely knows how to make an entrance. The “Water” singer arrived at the Glamour UK Women of the Year celebration wearing an aquatic risqué outfit, very Aquamarine meets high fashion. The South African superstar stepped out on the red carpet in London on October 30, wearing a bolero jacket made entirely from mussel shells (someone get Sara Paxton on the phone), pulled from George Trochopoulos’s fall 2025 collection. She was styled by Ron Hartleben, and wore the iconic sea-themed jacket with nothing underneath, something that’s become a popular style choice for our favorite singers and actors.
The look also featured a shredded black knit skirt by Trochopoulos, a pair of strappy black sandals, and Pandora Openable Stud Earrings with the Pandora ME Pavé Double Styling Link. She kept her beauty in line with the siren vibe, wearing a smoky eye with an iridescent silver color on the inner corners.
Tyla is being honored as one of Glamour’s Women of the Year alongside Rachel Zegler and a slew of other notable women like Ms. Rachel, Demi Moore, and Munroe Bergdorf.
Tyla is known for throwing a look, and she loves to lean into cheekier styles. She’s bold and clearly likes to have fun with her fashion — something that’s also very apparent with her music.
“I just wanted to have a good time. I wanted to go out, I wanted to party, I wanted to say anything and everything. I realized that people just like to talk—that’s just my life now,” she says in her Glamour cover story. “Instead of social media clapbacks—[which] I’ve been doing—I just wanted to sing about it and turn it into something fun and pop.”
So this aquatic fashion moment on the Glamour red carpet is just another example of how Tyla is focused on being young, carefree, and having fun with fashion and her music.
