Fashion enthusiasts gather 'round because UGG has just launched its latest collaboration, this time with fashion house Eckhaus Latta.
It is the second time that the Southern California brand has partnered with the designer, the first time being during Fall/Winter 2019. This Spring/Summer 2020 collection, however, is perfect for the budding warmer weather — rife with backless mules, sandals, and more. The capsule was first seen at New York Fashion Week in February and is hitting both brand’s websites as well as Nordstrom from May 28.
Aside for the collection itself, the two brands have also come out of the gate with a campaign shot by Zoe Ghertner, styled by Avena Gallagher, and modeled by Guinevere van Seenus and Frank Ayzenberg. In the images, models lie on a floating dock, in the middle of a body of glassy water, wearing tanks, skirts, suits, and more. In a press release, the brands shared that the campaign “draws inspiration from the American landscape and paintings from Jean-François Millet and Paul Gauguin, which were created to communicate serenity through landscape.”
The new UGG x Eckhaus Latta collection features eight unisex styles that all boast the square toe that was introduced in their first collection. There are two pairs of heeled strappy sandals, two chunky-soled platform mules, an ankle bootie, loafer mule, and two pairs of sneakers. In a range of creams, browns, and blues, the brands “reimagine the designs for spring-summer through a unique art school lens.”
