Vanessa Hudgens just brought the sheer trend to the Met Gala 2022. As one of the evening's red carpet co-hosts, Vanessa showed up at the Met stairs wearing a goth-inspired spin on the sheer 'fits that have taken over Hollywood.
Embracing the evening's “Gilded Glamour” theme with a twist, Vanessa wore a sheer, black gown from Moschino. The long dress extended nearly to her feet and featured a tulle-like fabric. The detailing on the look was everything, and included puffy, oversized sleeves and a high neck.
For the top of the gown, darker fabric was swirled into an extravagant pattern. The detailing extended all the way to her neck and hit just above her belly button, which Vanessa accessorized with a dainty piercing.
A lace train was attached to the back of the dress and it extended out behind Vanessa. The extra dash of fabric was a perfect accompaniment to the sheer black bottom. Beneath her gown's bottom, she also wore lace underwear. Although the turtleneck-like collar prevented Vanessa from sporting any necklaces, she did wear dangling diamond earrings, a matching bracelet, and a fair share of rings that perfectly complemented her long manicure.
For her Met Gala glam, the star's hair, completed by hairstylist Danielle Priano, was pulled into a braided updo and gemstones lined select sections of her hair. She wore a glossy pink lip and shimmering eye makeup, accented with a slightly sharp eye wing. Go, Vanessa Hudgens!
