Yesterday was a big day for runways. Both the much-anticipated Victoria’s Secret and the Chanel Métiers d’Art fashion shows occurred almost simultaneously, though in separate cities—VS was in London and Chanel took place in Salzburg, Austria (hence all the hubbub about Kendall and Cara choosing Chanel over VS). And while the two fashion labels may seem to be about as different as they come, we’d like to argue that yesterday’s shows were actually quite similar—you know, when you really break it down.
