Here I am, once again, preparing for a nostalgia blast that we didn't see coming — a Victorious spinoff is bringing the beloved 2010s Nickelodeon show back to our screen.
On Oct. 24, Netflix announced that it would be revitalizing the series with a brand-new spinoff series called Hollywood Arts. Produced by AwesomenessTV (To All the Boys I've Loved Before, PEN15), the Victorious spinoff is currently filming, so details about it are scant, but we've compiled everything you need to know to prepare for its return, including where you can watch it, when it will be released, and what this new show will be about.
In case you weren't there for the release of Victorious, this is your sign to watch it now. The original musical teen show, which followed a group of friends at Hollywood's most elite performing arts high school, brought us laughs, romance and so many iconic songs (Alexa, play “Freak the Freak Out”).
And let's not forget, it was the place where a baby-faced cast of new actors went on to become superstars: Ariana Grande, Victoria Justice, Leon Thomas III and Elizabeth Gillies, just to name a few. Below, find out who is returning for the Victorious spinoff, what new actors will be joining, and when Hollywood Arts will be released.
When does the Victorious spinoff come out?
According to a press release from Netflix, Hollywood Arts is slated for release in 2026. Filming has only just begun in Vancouver, so there's no set Victorious spinoff release date yet, but Nickelodeon has already begun sharing some adorable behind-the-scenes photos of the production on their social media, so we should be able to follow along with their filming schedule online.
Victorious originally debuted on Nickelodeon in 2010, making it 15 years since the show was released. It ran for four seasons and was the top-ranked primetime program for kids and teens. And it's still iconic, even years later — Netflix said that since 2024, Victorious has accumulated over 45 million views on the streamer alone.

What will Hollywood Arts be about?
The official press release for the show revealed that the spinoff show will center around Victorious' kooky and clumsy elder sister, Trina Vega. Now a struggling actress, Trina returns to her former high school, Hollywood Arts, as an unqualified substitute teacher, quickly finding herself both clashing with and unexpectedly inspiring a new generation of ambitious and talented students as they learn to find their true path at Hollywood’s most elite performing arts school.
The show will be executive produced by Daniella Monet, who originally played Trina Vega on Victorious.
Which Victorious members are returning for Hollywood Arts?
Yes, that's right — not only is Daniella Monet joining as executive producer, she's reprising her role as the iconic Trina Vega. Only this time, she'll be joined by a new cast of stars, including Alyssa Miles (Hanging out with Alyssa and Xavier), Emmy Liu-Wang (Raven’s Home, Slumber Party), Peyton Jackson (Woman in the Yard, Young Dylan), Erika Swayze (School Spirits, Davey & Jonesie’s Locker, Workin’ Moms) and Martin Kamm (Unsung Hero, Web of Spiderman). Drake & Josh's Yvette Nicole Brown has also been confirmed to guest star.
“Coming back as Trina alongside such a dynamic, powerful cast of newcomers is something I feel very lucky and grateful to do,” Monet said. “Victorious was in a lot of ways life changing for all of us, our cast is forever bonded by that experience, and to think that I have an opportunity to steward anything close to that is a feeling I can’t begin to describe. As an actress, producer, and mom, I am so eager to create something we can all be proud to share with the world.”
As for the rest of the original cast, including Victoria Justice, Ariana Grande, Leon Thomas III, Elizabeth Gillies, Avan Jogia and Matt Bennett, we don't know if they'll be making an appearance at their Nickelodeon alma mater yet. But never say never.
Where can I watch the Victorious spin-off?
The first season will have 26 episodes and will debut on Netflix next year, followed by releases on Paramount+ and Nickelodeon. Right now, all episodes of the original Victorious are streaming on Netflix, if you want to take a trip down memory lane.
Is there a trailer for Hollywood Arts?
At the time of writing, there is no trailer for Hollywood Arts, but you can always check out Trina Vega's iconic performance of “Chicago ” on YouTube:
Are there any first-look photos for Hollywood Arts?
AwesomenessTV announced the show on their social media on Oct. 24 with an Instagram video of Monet standing on set. We can see a peek of the campus courtyard where the original Victorious cast used to hang out, with the blue lunch tables, spiral staircase and green metal beams.
Nickelodeon also released some snapshots from the cast table read, featuring the cast rehearsing their lines and even some songs. “we have some surprises up our sleeve :),” Monet commented under the post.
