Wondering what's leaving Netflix August 2023? We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there are a lot of favorites exiting the streaming platform next month. Of course, it is all in efforts to make room for all the new content making its grand entrance in August, but that doesn't mean it hurts any less.
The last full month of summer sees the departure of action flicks like Angelina Jolie's Salt and The Italian Job, as well as horror classics like Paranormal Activity (the first one, OFC) and The Ring. Romances like Sleepless in Seattle and Barry Jenkins's James Baldwin adaptation If Beale Street Could Talk are also on their way out, so make sure to get in one more sappy movie night before we have to bid them farewell. Perhaps the most beloved TV and film titles controversially leaving the streamer in August are all six seasons of Tia and Tamera Mowry's Disney sitcom Sister, Sister and the early aughts high school classic Mean Girls, starring Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams. Damn, Africa, what happened? 😔
Remember, there's so much coming to Netflix in August… try to hold on to that beautiful promise! Keep scrolling to see the full list of everything leaving Netflix August 2023.
