The world has been busy tuning into the 2024 Paris Olympics, but you might be wondering: what's leaving Netflix in August? Sadly, a lot. As summer starts to wind down, Netflix is also condensing your watch list for you by removing a ton of old (and new!) favorites.
The clock is ticking for you to rewatch Sam Raimi's original Spider-Man trilogy starring Tobey Maguire, an early 2000s classic franchise. To make it even worse, Andrew Garfield's The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 are also leaving in August. The pain!
Comedies like Liar Liar, The Nutty Professor and its sequel, Pineapple Express, and The Edge of Seventeen starring Hailee Steinfeld and Haley Lu Richardson are also departing the platform by the end of the month. Bid adieu to animated faves Paddington and Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile (famously voiced by none other than Shawn Mendes), and say goodbye to the award-winning films Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, Everything Everywhere All at Once, and The Woman King.
