We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it's time to part ways with many beloved movies and shows leaving Netflix in September 2022. Ready for the good news, though?! There's an almost endless amount of content to look forward to with everything that's new on Netflix September 22 — A Cinderella Story's return! Cobra Kai Season 5! — so don't even sweat it. Instead, text all your friends because it's time for the most massive movie marathon ever, right before school starts back up again.
This month, Netflix is letting go of entire catalogs of ‘90s and ’00s shows, like seasons 1-6 of Saved by the Bell and seasons 1-8 of The Vampire Diaries. For all the superhero fans, Gotham seasons 1-5 are also peacing out. A teen classic is leaving the streamer once more, and we're honestly going to be counting down the days until it (hopefully) makes its triumphant return. That's right… Mean Girls is leaving Netflix in September.
How does the saying go? Movie magic is the best way to mend a broken heart? Or something like that, anyway. IDK. All we do know that it's time to start re-watching before all of your fave movies and TV shows make their grand exit.
