These Businesses Are Shutting Down, Here's How You Can Support From Afar

Social distance and shop for a cause.

In the midst of the COVID-19 where social distancing is key, businesses both small and large will be taking a hit as many brick-and-mortar stores are shutting down to ensure the safety and wellbeing of their employees and have to continue to pay the same rent prices. Larger businesses that have the overhead are finding ways to continue to pay their employees or set up funds to support them during this time. Other businesses like LVMH are innovating and adapting to the time by shifting the output of their factories from perfume to hand sanitizers.

Social distancing for the greater good is also an opportunity to practice self-care, get to that puzzle you've been pushing off, or hanging up frames that have been on your floor. Finally cleaned out your closet? Treat yourself to a new pair of shoes while simultaneously supporting a business that needs it. Everyone wins (and stays safe). When times are uncertain, find solace in a good pair of boots or extra soft sweater. It's something to look forward to when the quarantine ends and in the meantime, wear them around the house to feel a little bit more dressed up while working from home.
