Ayra Starr is only one of 26 first-time nominees at this year's awards. Other celebs up for their first Moon Person tonight include former Teen Vogue cover stars Ice Spice and Saucy Santana, PinkPantheress, Reneé Rapp, Boygenius, aespa, GloRilla, Yung Miami, Kim Petras, Peso Pluma, Metro Boomin, and Toosii. On the other hand, Taylor Swift and SZA are the most-nominated artists of the night, with 8 and 6 nods each, respectively. Per MTV, if Swift wins 2023 Video of the Year — which she won last year for “All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor's Version)” — she could make history as the only artist to ever win the category four times.
