Who's on the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding guest list… and maybe more importantly, who is not on the list? Some believe that her close pal Blake Lively did not make the cut due to alleged ongoing drama between the two, but is this actually true or just the rumor mill working in overdrive?

Let's discuss.

We probably don't have to tell you that Swift's impeding nuptials are a huge deal, and everyone's on high alert waiting to see where she and fiancé Travis Kelce are tying the knot, what she'll wear, and which celebrities will be there. We've heard all kinds of rumors, like that Stevie Nicks is set to perform, but one of the biggest rumors involves Swift's longtime friendship with Lively, who has been a core member of her squad for well over a decade.

Is Blake Lively going to Taylor Swift's wedding?

Here's the short answer: We're not sure. While there's been a lot of speculation about the current state of Lively and Swift's friendship, the fact of the matter is that only the stars themselves know the truth about what's going on.

Page Six did report that Lively is not on the invite list, but again, there is no concrete, factual, complete guest list to speak of. “There hasn’t been an olive branch when it comes to their friendship,” an unnamed source told the publication. “And Taylor hasn’t extended a wedding invitation to Blake.” As always, we have to take any tidbits attributed to an unnamed source with a big grain of salt.

What's going on between Blake Lively and Taylor Swift?

The whole situation is unclear. Some have speculated that the friends had a falling out due to the controversy and legal drama around Lively's court battle with her It Ends with Us director Justin Baldoni; Swift was named in court documents and texts between the two were shared. But like we've said countless times, this is all just speculation at this point, and we don't know what's really happening in their lives.

Some of the released texts do hint at a rough patch between the pair, however, with Lively asking Swift if everything was OK between them during the It Ends with Us drama and Swift responding that her life has been exhausting and she's been feeling like Lively had changed the way she talked to her friend. "It feels awful to be in any way critical of any way you process what you’ve been going through but I just kinda miss my funny, dark, normal-speaking friend who talks to me as herself,” Swift wrote. “And I know you feel attacked from all sides for ridiculous reasons so you’re feeling like you have to overly explain things... but. It’s me! That’s just caused a little distance. And you don’t need to apologize. Just come back please.”

In January 2026, People reported that Swift simply wanted to "stay away from the drama" after the texts became public knowledge. “Taylor feels like her privacy was impacted. Anyone would be uncomfortable if their private texts were suddenly made public," the unnamed source told the outlet.

The two have been tight since 2015; Lively even directed one of Swift's music videos, for “I Bet You Think About Me,” in 2021, and one of her children is featured at the beginning of Swift's song “Gorgeous.” Lively's children—James, Inez, and Betty—also provided character name inspiration on Swift's folklore track “Betty.”) So will Blake Lively be in the crowd when Swift says her vows? We'll have to wait and see.
