Omar Rudberg, the star of Netflix's hit show Young Royals, just stepped onto the Oscars 2024 red carpet for the very first time, and he's proving that sometimes less is more with one of the most daring looks of the night's so far.
For his Oscars debut, Rudberg opted for a monochrome look, wearing a cropped double-breasted black blazer adorned with a silver pin brooch fastened on the lapel. To add an element of surprise, he decided to skip the shirt underneath, giving the look an extra edge.
To complete the outfit, Rudberg simply opted for a pair of simple black slacks accessorized with a black grommet belt and patent black shoes.
Although he also skipped jewelry for the most part, Rudberg did wear two silver statement rings, adding some sparkle to the look. He also carried a simple black square bag as well. As for beauty, Rudberg wore his signature brown curls slicked down for a chic look.
Prior to the red carpet, Rudberg posted a video of himself getting ready on his personal TikTok account. In the clip, he shares a sneak peek of a stacked makeup counter covered in products and then flips the camera to show himself getting his base makeup touched up while he throws up a peace sign.

Rudberg is a Swedish-Venezuelan singer, and one of the leads of the Netflix show Young Royals. The newest season of the Swedish series drops March 11 on the streaming platform. With the premiere of the new season and his Oscars 2024 appearance, this is a major week for Rudberg.
