Young Royals hive, rejoice! It looks like Omar Rudberg and Edvin Ryding's professional journey together will continue after the series finale.
Recently, Rudberg appeared in an episode of Tommy DiDario's I’ve Never Said This Before podcast and announced he and Ryding plan to continue working together even despite the wrap of Young Royals.
When asked if he could share a tidbit of information he had never shared with anyone, Rudberg's mind immediately went to Ryding. “People might be sad about the show ending and not seeing me and Edvin acting together anymore or working together anymore, but you know what? Me and Edvin are going to do some stuff together in the future," Rudberg revealed.
“We are working on something that is a little secret but stay tuned because you'll see me and Edvin do stuff together in the future," the actor continued.
Rudberg also proclaimed he and Ryding would “definitely, obviously” continue to be friends off-screen but made sure to emphasize the fact that we will see them together in another professional project soon. “Working together? Not completely over yet,” he teased.

Omar Rudberg and Edvin Ryding are best known for portraying star-crossed lovers Prince Wilhelm of Sweden and Simon Eriksson on the Swedish YA romance drama Young Royals, which began airing on Netflix in 2021.
Since its premiere, the series has become a massive hit on the streamer, reaching the Global Top 10 of Netflix's Non-English TV list multiple times while amassing millions of views — and, of course, Rudberg and Ryding are a fan-favorite duo.
In December 2022, one month after the premiere of the show's second season, Netflix announced Young Royals had been renewed for a third and final season.
After much waiting, the first five episodes of season 3 of Young Royals hit Netflix on March 11, 2024, just one day after Rudberg attended his first Oscars. The season's sixth episode, which will serve as the series finale, is slated to release on March 18, 2024.
All eyes are set on the still-to-air finale at the moment, so we have a feeling this won't be the last we hear of Rudberg and Ryding on Wilhelm and Simon before they unveil their mystery project, whatever that might be.
