Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid are celebrating their daughter's fourth birthday with the sweetest tributes on social media. The two stars, who welcomed Khai on September 19, 2020, made sure to commemorate the special occasion before the day was over.
On September 19, Zayn, who had just announced his first-ever solo tour in support of Room Under The Stairs days before, took to Instagram to pen a heartfelt letter to his daughter, which he accompanied with a pic of the two enjoying time together at the beach.
“Happy birthday to the most important person in my life, I love you more than words allow me to express, beyond proud to call you my daughter,” Zayn wrote. “[I'm] grateful for every second I get to spend next to you, as you become the incredible person I know you already are. Four years ago today my life changed forever and I wouldn’t be the man I am today without you.”

Gigi Hadid also made sure to immortalize Khai's fourth birthday on her own grid, posting a 17-slide carousel of the Star Wars-themed birthday bash. The celebrations included a birthday cake with a 3D Yoda that read: “May the FOURce be with you.” Hadid also included pictures of hers and Kahi's mother-daughter time, including, in true Hadid style, horseback riding sessions and a couple of beach outings.
“Our girl is 4 today and we celebrated all week!!!” Hadid wrote in her caption. “She loves animals (fantastical ones too), music, baby yoda, all things nature & bugs, Descendants, anything squishy or miniature, and if possible- will be in the water from dawn til dusk. 🐬 She is curious, adventurous, loving, and oh so witty ⚡️⚡️ Khai- it is my life’s greatest joy and pride to be your mama!!!! Thank you for the four best years of my life- you remind me to live life to the fullest every day, in the most simple & beautiful ways. Your possibilities are endless, my sweetest love !!!! 🦄🪱🧁🪐🥑🧜♀️🐣🎸🏖️ YODA BEST 💚🩷”

Though Malik and Hadid, who both have a tattoo in honor of their daughter, notably split before the birth of Khai, the duo have opened up about co-parenting multiple times in the past, admitting the key is “keeping the importance of the child's happiness at the forefront.”
"You have a long life alongside this person," Hadid said of Malik last year. “That she can be with both parents makes me very happy.” Clearly, baby Khai is happy too!
