After his recent fallout with Naughty Boy, Zayn Malik has officially returned to the studio — and this time, it's with two-time Grammy Award winner Malay, who's spent years working with R&B luminaries like Alicia Keys, John Legend, and Frank Ocean.
Though Zayn hasn't released any music since his split with One Direction — not officially, anyway — both of his leaked tracks have the kind of slow jam vibes that Malay is a master at making. (Now would be the perfect time to give Channel Orange another spin.)

In the last week alone, Zayn has also been in the studio with an artist named MYKL AKA #MakeYouKnowLove. (aka Michael? Who knows, maybe his mom really did give him a hashtag for a name.) Monikers aside, the dude's been tweeting things like "it's a masterpiece," which Zayn's been quick to retweet, either to tease and/or torture us. It's working.
