Zendaya at Schiaparelli is taking over the internet — and for good reason. When the Paris haute couture season arrives, we always look forward to the Schiaparelli show. The fashion house seems to one-up itself both with the clothes and the celebrity attendees, whether it's with Kylie Jenner in the lion head dress, Doja Cat covered in red Swarovski crystals, Kendall Jenner wearing a dress made of fake nails, and now, Zendaya sitting front row in a fresh new set of micro bangs.
Though the Dune actor has been laying low recently, she made an appearance for the haute couture show on January 22, 2024, wearing a slim-fitting black maxi pencil skirt with a back slit paired with a black long-sleeved top, sheer tights, and Christian Louboutin pumps.
The outfit, per Zendaya standards, was exquisite, but her hair was all we could focus on. Zendaya's dark auburn-brunette hair was pin straight and hit about mid-back, with a vintage-inspired set of micro bangs that hit right in the center of her forehead.
Unlike more pinup-style baby bangs, Zendaya's fringe wasn't cut straight across but rather a little choppy for a more modern, fashion-forward spin, more akin to a Japanese hime cut. Two small sections of hair were pulled out near her face and separated from the rest of her hair. The end result was a little punk and a lot of glamour, as only Zendaya can do it.
Zendaya let the bangs take center stage, wearing minimal makeup and a neutral "my nails but better"-style manicure. Given that the bangs hovered an inch or so over her brows, her arches were shaped to perfection.
Zendaya's Euphoria costar Hunter Schafer was also in attendance, and the two stars sat together for the show. Schafer wore a strapless black dress with a deep V-neck and gathered draped bodice, plus a bold gold flower necklace, and styled her hair in a sleek bun.
Will Zendaya's fashion show fringe spark a wave of micro bangs? That remains to be seen, but it's safe to say this Schiaparelli look is one of her best ever.
