Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet are taking their besties status to the next level with fully matching outfits during the Dune 2 press run. Following premieres across Europe and North America, the film's leading duo have set foot in Asia, and they are more than delivering when it comes to looks.
On February 21, Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet attended a press conference for Dune 2 in Seoul, South Korea, wearing the exact same leather overalls but in different colors. At the beginning of the Dune 2 press run, the duo already wore coordinating leather outfits for an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, but their Seoul 'fits really take the cake.
Since they were in South Korea, Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet chose to wear a South Korean designer for the press conference, opting for matching overalls from Juun.J's spring-summer 2024 collection. However, despite wearing the same silhouette, the two added personal details to their styling.
Zendaya's Juun.J overalls for the Dune 2 press conference in Seoul feature a pale salmon color. On the runway, the piece was styled tied around the model's waist with a matching blazer vest as the top. Zendaya decided to embrace the utilitarian nature of the piece, opting to wear the overalls on their own and skipping a shirt underneath.
To add some visual interest, Zendaya showed a bit of shoulder and tied the piece's belt to cinch in her waist. She paired the piece with a simple silver necklace, and Louboutin pumps that perfectly matched the overall's color.
Chalamet, on the other hand, opted for a powdery blue version of the piece. Like Zendaya, he also accessorized with simple silver necklaces. Unlike Z, who added a bit of sophistication with her shoe choice, Chalamet leaned into the utilitarian vibes with a pair of Chelsea boots that also perfectly matched the color of his overalls.
Both Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet have been taking their looks seriously for the Dune 2 press run. That said, while Chalamet has been relying on wearable designer pieces, Zendaya has been testing the limits with fun shapes and archival pieces. (ICYMI: just last week, she shut down the London premiere with a butt-baring silver suit of armor from Mugler.)
That said, though we enjoy seeing the two put their own spin into red-carpet and premiere dressing, it's also super fun to see them wearing the same thing. You know what they say: Besties who dress together stay together. What's the next stop?
