The couple that acts together, stays together. Zendaya and Tom Holland are set to reunite in a film together outside of the Marvel universe, both landing roles in Christopher Nolan's forthcoming movie.

Variety confirmed on Friday that Zendaya would be joining the stacked cast after it was announced last month that Holland had landed a role in Nolan's new film. The Hollywood power couple will be working together once again after both starring in three of the Holland-led Spider-Man movies. A fourth film has been confirmed to be coming soon.

Zendaya and Holland will be joining Anne Hathaway and Matt Damon as part of the cast — the latter two having worked with Nolan more than once. The film's plot is unknown publicly at this time but is expected to come out on July 17, 2026.

Zendaya's impending role in Nolan's film will add to her impressive slate of films working with the industry's most coveted directors. She previously starred in Luca Guadagnino's Challengers, earlier this year, which was a critical and commercial success, and in Denis Villeneuve's Dune films.

Holland, who is coming off of his 12-week run of Romeo & Juliet on the West End, told Good Morning America last month that he accepted the role in a Nolan film without knowing much about the plot.

“When the opportunity came in, it was the phone call of a lifetime,” Holland said. “It was reminiscent of getting the call about Spider-Man 10 years ago. It’s an amazing thing for me. I’m super proud and I’m really, really excited.”

This will be Christopher Nolan's first film since Oppenheimer was released last summer — creating the famous “Barbenheimer” summer where moviegoers saw both Barbie and Oppenheimer as double features. Nolan's film took home seven Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director. The stacked cast included Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., and more.
