Ellie Goulding Rocks NYC's Webster Hall
NYC's Webster Hall was packed last night, as hundreds of fans gathered to hear buzzy English songwriter Ellie Goulding.
To start the night, The Knocks, an NYC-based electro/mashup duo, opened the show with a set that got everyone dancing.
Then, hot off the heels of her rockin' SXSW performance, Goulding did not disappoint. Clad in a kitschy mesh see-through leotard with strategically placed hands, a bandleader's jacket that was a mix of Balmain and MJ, plus a pair of rocker-chic booties, Ellie looked and sounded like a seasoned veteran. She seemed at ease and totally in control, alternately playing guitar, rocking the drums, and dancing around the stage.
