Get the Look: Anne Hathaway at the Oscars

Anne Hathaway may have been carrying the ginormous pressure of preparing to host the most important awards show in the world, but you wouldn't know it from watching her coolly walk the red carpet looking every bit the part of a dazzling movie star. Her stunning red Valentino couture gown with rosette accents was perfectly complemented by va-va-voom crimson lips and an understated low bun, and according to her glam squad, this beauty look can be easily achieved at home! Here's how to make it happen:

Skintimate Teams Up With Designer Mara Hoffman

Shaving can totally feel like a chore, but Skintimate is helping to make it a lot more stylish! Last night at Lincoln Center, amidst all the NYFW hustle and bustle, the top-selling shave prep line announced that they've enlisted Mara Hoffman to revamp their shave gel cans. Known for her vibrant colors and prints (Doesn't she look so boho-chic in that flowy, patterned dress??), Mara applied the same dynamic visuals to four different Skintimate scents. The designer cans won't hit stores until May, but you can get in on the fashion action RIGHT NOW: From now until March 23rd, you can enter to win a two-week internship with Mara leading up to her swimwear fashion show in Miami. "The winner will help me prep the collection in New York and the fly with my team to Miami. He or she will really get to see how a collection comes together!" reveals the designer. Go to this website for all the details! Sorry, you have to be 18 or older to enter this contest... BUT everyone should still check out the site for info on other prizes that will be given away during the voting period--including the chance to attend Mara's Miami fashion show with a guest!

Countdown to Prom: Repairing Dry and Blemished Skin

It's an age-old beauty dilemma: You use an arsenal of acne products every day to get rid of some wretched zits only to discover that your skin is now super flaky and irritated--and still spotted with pimples! It's enough to drive a girl absolutely nuts, and dermatologist Audrey Kunin--the doc behind the popular DERMAdoctor brand--says this happens to teens all the time. "It boils down to the fact that your skin is totally out of whack. Lots of teens with acne think they need to pile on the treatment products and dry out their skin, but this strips away the oil that's there to protect the skin," she explains. If your attempts to achieve clear skin by prom night has left you with this really annoying problem, Kunin recommends putting the breaks on your acne regimen for one week. "Set aside all of those products and only use a very gentle cleanser and moisturizer, like the ones from Cetaphil or CeraVe. After a week, you can re-introduce an acne product or two into your routine, but if the directions say to use just a dab, don't use any more than that!" she stresses. And even though it may seem to go against common sense, make sure you use skin-care products that are hydrating--it's hugely important for teens with oily and acne-prone skin, she adds.
