Well, I did it! I ran the half marathon! When I first started training, my biggest fear was that I'd go through the course thinking "Laurel Pantin, this is the worst idea you've EVER had." Images of me limping across the finish line sobbing and freezing, and letters from Nike telling me what a disappointment I was flashed through my mind the morning of the race, and frankly, I was petrified. But you know what? I had a BLAST! And seriously, I'm blown away by Nike because they REALLY know how to throw an event! This was nuts!

Here we go! I'm finally running my Nike half marathon on Sunday! Tonight I'm packing up my favorite Nike lizard green running shorts, and lots and lots of snacks for the flight and heading out to San Francisco!
