Growing up, I wasn’t a Girl Scout, I didn’t go to camp, and I never got into ballet. Now, I’m obsessed with Thin Mint cookies, I still don’t go camping, and I wish I had gone to a few dance classes at least (If you’re reading this mom, I’m sorry you were right, and I was just lazy). I did own a pair of ballet flats that were tucked away in a forgotten corner of one my costume drawers. But it was just that, a costume. Regardless of my conspiracy theories, not only ballet flats are extremely comfortable, but they’re a nice twist to a casual outfit without having wear sneakers.
