I love the idea of highly intricate and colorful nail designs. Because just like what you wear every morning, I believe that whatever you decide to plaster on your nails accentuates your personality, or even more so since you can’t easily take it off. But, turns out that when it comes to my nails, well, they’re small, very small. We’re talking about, ‘‘you-can-paint-each-one-with-one-brush-stroke” small. So, whenever I see a design I like and look down at my nails, I know that it’s literally impossible to do.
That’s why, when I saw the rainbow nail trend (or mismatched mani trend) all over Instagram, I knew I hit the nail jackpot. Not only does this colorful nail trend show personality, but if you’re indecisive like me, then the pressure of finding a particular color once you’re at the beauty salon is gone because they’re so many variations on how to approach this rainbow trend.
You can opt for primary colors, hues from the current color trends, or just any color that your heart desires, the possibilities are endless really.

See what I mean? At the beginning of the month, I tried the rainbow mani on my own nails, and it lived up to the hype (aka I found the nail art trend of my dreams). Now, I’m eyeing these 12 colorful nail polishes to try this spring.
