BLACKPINK's Lisa has officially made her Met Gala debut. Following in the steps of fellow BLACKPINK members Lisa and Jennie, the White Lotus alum has arrived at the Met Gala 2025 red carpet.
On May 5, 2025, Lisa arrived at the famed stairs of the Metropolitan Museum of Art for fashion's biggest night wearing a sheer lace adorned in sparkles. In lieu of trousers, she wore a bodysuit and tights covered in the LV logos. She wasn't the only one wearing the no-pants trend though. Sabrina Carpenter also repped the style, making the two matching.
On the beauty front, Lisa wore her hair in a messy updo. Her makeup was soft and glowy with a healthy flush of pink blush and she made sure to add an edge with a long, gem-covered manicure.
Speculation around Lisa's potential Met Gala debut has been alive for years, but things definitely reached a new high ahead of tonight's event when fans spotted Lisa's manicurist, Juan Alvear, at the Mark Hotel, where invitees of the gala usually stay. (Fellow BLACKPINK members Jennie and Rosé were also seen at the location.)
Alvear, who was behind Lisa's show-stopping nail sets at Coachella 2025, posted a picture from the hotel, teasing that prep had begun, and fans quickly got on the case. Usually, we can infer international stars are going to make their way to the Met Gala if they are spotted at their base airports or arriving at JFK in the leadup to the event, however, Lisa was already on U.S. soil as she attended the F1 Grand Prix of Miami on May 4, 2025. (And Alvear was also with her in Miami!)
