Supermodel Kaia Gerber hit the red carpet at the Met Gala 2022 with some majorly hair-raising waves.
Kaia donned a glimmering silver Alexander McQueen gown with midriff cutouts and dangling, sparkling sequin paillettes for the big event, but despite the gown's spectacular shimmer, it was her hair that stole the show. The model, who is known for her go-to brunette bob haircut, instead opted for super long, extra voluminous curls that served up a larger-than-life impact.
In keeping with the Gilded Glamour theme, Kaia styled her hair in a waterfall of ringlets, parted in the center and held back on each side by filigree clips with large pearls. The look was a bit reminiscent of the classic Botticelli painting The Birth of Venus and a bit of Brooke Shields in the '80s film The Blue Lagoon. Kaia's curls cascaded all the way down to her waist, highlighting the cutouts on the bodice.
As for the rest of her beauty look, Kaia opted to keep things romantic and simple, going for full, brushed-up brows, and shimmering pink and purple eyeshadow. A precise cat eye, plus delicately blushed cheeks and a petal pink lip, kept her makeup feeling both modern and timeless.
A shiny black manicure gave the angelic look a bit of edge, and a diamond ring added yet another hint of sparkle to Kaia Gerber's Met Gala moment in the spotlight. With those gorgeous curls and that sparkling gown, it's safe to say Kaia felt like the true belle of the ball for her big night.
