After wearing Adidas Sambas sneakers on repeat for months, Kendall Jenner is changing things up with a new footwear style.
Kendall was spotted a handful of times over the summer and early fall in the classic three-stripe Sambas (in both black and white) while roaming around town. She wore them with everything from midi skirts to bike shorts. Case in point: she was spotted wearing a pair of white Sambas with a fitted white midi skirt and green tank in late August.
She also chose her footwear wisely for a day out in New York, wearing the black Sambas with white jeans, a white T-shirt, and a sweater vest in late September.
A few days later, the model grabbed coffee in her pair of Sambas, comfy white pants, and a leather trench tossed over the top.
Until October 8, Kendall wore her black Sambas with bike shorts, a gray hoodie, and a baseball cap.
However, on October 10, the model was snapped in Los Angeles in a different shoe: the Nike Air Vapormax Plus. The model styled the chunkier silhouette with leggings, a long-sleeved white cropped shirt, a big black tote bag, a mask, and a pair of sunglasses.
Nike first unveiled the Vapormax style in 2016 and has since released multiple iterations of the shoe. The shoes are sleek and modern, and because they were designed for running, they're super lightweight and cushioned for the ultimate comfort, even if you aren't hitting the track or the treadmill. (Kendall's outfit does look like she's heading to the gym or out on a hike, so kudos on choosing supportive and comfortable footwear!)
But before you go replacing your go-to Adidas sneakers with a Kendall Jenner-approved pair of Vapormax Plus, we are here to tell you their reign is still far from over. Sambas have been having a moment in the spotlight thanks to famous fans like Emma Chamberlain, Kaia Gerber, Bella Hadid, and BLACKPINK's Jennie, who showed off a pair of the Velosamba sneakers in an Instagram post.
While Kendall may be trying on a new style this month, we don't think this is the last of her Sambas styling — after all, they're a true classic and will never go out of style!
