Marc Jacobs Heaven Taps Sofia Coppola’s Daughter, Romy Croquet, for New Campaign

History repeats itself!!!

Director Sofia Coppola's oldest daughter, Romy Croquet, is now the face of Marc Jacobs's new diffusion line, Heaven. Considered his ultimate muse by many, Sofia posed for the designer earlier in his career and has continued to collaborate with him for campaigns and commercials over the years, so it's safe to say history is repeating itself!

As expected, since he is very good friends with her mother, Marc and Romy go way back; he's known her since she was a baby. (Her father is Thomas Mars, the frontman of the French band Phoenix.) Romy is almost 14 years old, and according to a press release about the new campaign, she styled and shot all the images herself.

In one pic, which Teen Vogue debuts here exclusively, Romy poses in front of a white wall (very Marc Jacobs-esque!) in a green zipper hoodie embellished with pink bears. In another, she hugs a backpack featuring two stuffed bears while wearing a brown and yellow floral patterned sundress.

We also see her in a graphic long-sleeve knit sweater, a printed army green tee that reads "your screaming automatic pain," and as she lays on the floor in a blue and black sweater featuring the face of actor Robert Duval.

The Marc Jacobs Heaven line launched in September and features items at a lower price point than the brand's regular line, similar to the now-defunct Marc by Marc Jacobs. Heaven's prices range from $35 for a bandana to $275 for a dress, and the online shop also features magazines, art books, and even a (now sold out) Virgin Suicides DVD, signed by Romy's mom, its director!

The line has a very '90s teen vibe, which totally suits both Romy, the daughter of a '90s icon, Sofia, and Marc himself. "Heaven is a world within our Marc Jacobs world," Marc said in a previous press release about the line. "It continues the momentum that we've always had of bringing creative people together and making something with a lot of integrity and a real respect for the spirit in which we built the company, but doing it through a lens that is completely of this moment." Clearly, Marc and Romy have done just that!
