If you've long been a fan of Megan Thee Stallion's beauty looks, you're not alone. The rapper was just named Revlon's global brand ambassador and now she's dropped her very first makeup tutorial — one that is full of Meg's signature witticisms and relatable glamour.
On August 10, Megan posted the 17-minute tutorial to IGTV, writing, "FINALLY DID A MAKEUP TUTORIAL. Alright na this is my first time doing this so don’t expect it to be crazy perfect lol." However, the vid is a treasure trove great tips and tricks, as well as some excellent product picks from Revlon, of course.
Megan starts by saying that her tutorial may be a bit different than what you're used to seeing. "The way I do makeup is not the way y'all's favorite YouTube makeup artists be doing their stuff." She likes to let her imagination run wild while doing her makeup and go with the flow.
In the video, she begins with a beautifully blended and precise brown cut crease, then adds a blue shadow for drama. "As you can see I've been applying brown eyeshadow on my eyes for a long time. That's because you want to get it as brown as possible! It's all going to work out in the end, I promise." Megan doesn't go for nine different brushes to complete a shadow look, either. "If you wanna do makeup like me, use one brush and keep wiping it off!" she laughs.

Meg also has some wise advice for both beauty newbies and experts alike. "You learn as you go. Sometimes you mess up. But as long as you can roll with it, makeup is your friend," she says. Her blending skills are unparalleled, as she shows off in the video, spending several minutes perfecting the cut crease. (Her secret? Concealer for that super-sharp perfection!) Once she's satisfied with her shadow, she applies an equally precise liquid eyeliner in a subtle cat-eye shape for that signature Megan glam.
As for her lip look, Megan layers a few products, including Super Lustrous lipsticks in Hot Chocolate and Untold Story, as well as brown shadow to define and make her lips really pop. She tops off her handiwork with a clear gloss and a brown gloss for a '90s meets 2020 vibe. "I walk around with eight glosses in my purse," Megan says. After adding false lashes to "turn up the whole thing," a little So Fierce mascara, and some powder to set, Megan's look is complete, and it's pure hot girl summer perfection.
